Del City to install new tornado warning system

Del City, Oklahoma, is currently installing a new warning system to be ready in time for tornado season. The project, funded by a $200,000 bond issue, includes eight ATI Systems solar powered sirens capable of broadcasting pre-recorded messages and live messages from emergency personnel.
