SF's Noon Siren Goes Multilingual
Residents of some San Francisco neighborhoods can look forward to hearing not only an English message following Tuesday's noon siren, but also a Cantonese and maybe even Spanish message
following the system formerly used to warn residents of air raids. Fifteen emergency warning sirens around the city will broadcast in multiple languages: English, Cantonese, and Spanish.

Jersey’s reconstruction is underway with ambitious plans for five new skyscrapers, a memorial park and museum, a new transportation hub, a retail complex and a performing arts center. The
safety and security of the construction and planning team are paramount. What was needed was a unique emergency warning system on the site. The system from ATI will provide audible alerts

Emergency alert sirens coming to Hoboken Terminal
As a security measure, Hudson County is installing 31 emergency sirens throughout the county, including some in Hoboken. The Board of Hudson County Freeholders awarded a $795,000 contract
earlier this month to Kevco Electric Co., of Bloomfield, and Acoustic Technology Inc., of Boston, to install the sirens at transit centers and elsewhere, reports today's Jersey Journal.
The cost is being covered by a 2006 homeland security grant.
